wow

i haven't been here in so long....but i'm back with brand new things i knitted and a new book! i was in sacramento visiting a friend of mine when i saw this punk knits book...i knew i had to have it! also made this knitted bikini top....its so cute and sassy.

another new book...oh my!

i'm waiting for my new book "scarf style" to come in the mail. i got it on amazon.com...in fact i got all my knitting books on there. they are very afordable and you get to see inside the book. i know i haven't been on here in a while but it'd be great if i had some feedback on my work....oh well!

new book..new pattern

i got the book sexy little knits and im trying out this pattern for this retro mini dress. it looks so cute i just had to try it! been a little depressed cause i've been looking at my cut. i probably seem a bit overdramatic but i feel like a monster sometimes. been thinking that maybe i don't take enough pics so next week is going to have pics.

surgery

sorry i haven't posted in a while but i had a relapse from my surgery but i am back and ready for action! i have a great idea for people that live in the area around oceanside. i'd like to start a knitting meetup group. we can pick a place and a day each month and get together and just knit our hearts out. any volunteers to help me get this thing off the gound is greatly appreciated.i am also in the process of making a knitting pattern for a hat.

finished hat...yay!!

i finally finished the hat for my friend's baby...i even used the picot edging even though i never tried it. i hope she likes it. it was a bit hard because i'm still a little sore from the surgery but that didn't stop me.


my puppy paco was so curious he was poking at the hats like a cat when i was trying to take pictures of it....such a curious boy!

a brand new day

i finished the hat for my friend christina and i'm starting her baby's hat now. i also got my business cards in the mail and they look great! my breast hurts like crazy though. yesterday i had a fibroid removed from my breast because they thought it might be cancer. the nurses all thought i was crazy cause i wanted to knit up until they took me away. they just don't understand me and my true love for knitting.....not even a trip to the hospital could split us up. of the hats i also just picked up the new issue of knit 1 magazine and can't wait to try out some new patterns.my boyfriend also said he'd come visit me tomorrow so i'm excited to see him after my surgery...i miss him a lot.

the hat lowdown

the lowdown on the hat is that i am just about finished and i just know christina's gonna love it! i'm not to worried about finishing the baby hat cause it'll only take three days. i got an e-mail about an order...i wonder what it is. i have a good feeling this business is going to take off without a hitch.

new hat

i'm knitting a bennie for my best friend christina and another in the same colors for her new baby girl. i got the pattern from this vouge knitting magazine. i'm halfway done because i've been swamped with work but i will post pics and the pattern as soon as possible.
