birthday beret

i made my friend lori beret for her birthday. the pattern was a bit challenging but i was so proud of myself when i was done. i was super relived when she told me she loved it because i get so nervous making things for someone if i don't know how they will react. there's nothing worse than spending hours upon hours on a project just to have someone say "oh that's ok i don't want it" or "where did u get it so i can regift...it might be too big".

school is scary

this is the most intense semester i have ever had. i have to fight to find time to knit and crochet. i barely have enough time to talk to people or have a social life. well i am sort of winning and will post pics soon of the new things ive made.
